I LOVE YOU
I try to only consume great stuff. The movies and TV shows I watch. The books I read. I take what I like from others and use it to make my work better.
The YWCA spot "I Love You" would not exist if it weren't for the Sandy Hook Promise spot "Evan."
I loved that spot's "oh, shit" ending that made the viewer rethink everything they'd just seen.
I wanted to do something similar for the YWCA, and so I did.
The spot helped raise more than $350,000 and won a half-dozen Nashville and District ADDYs.
